Every tour is a story. Every street has a secret.
Begin at Osgoode Hall and walk through the city's founding streets — from the original garrison to the financial district's extraordinary architecture. Toronto was built on stories most people don't know yet.
The Collegiate Gothic campus of UofT alongside the galleries, bookshops, and stories of Bloor Street.
From bohemian village to global luxury — the transformation of Toronto's most glamorous quarter.
From the Victorian gasworks of the Distillery District to the street murals of Kensington Market — each LiveToronto walk covers a distinct piece of the city's character, history, and evolving identity.
Explore All Routes"Dustin planned my entire two-hour route around exactly what I wanted to see. He was knowledgeable about history, art, and architecture, and kept up a steady stride even on a bitterly cold February morning."
"Started at Osgoode Hall — an incredible place for photographs — and covered more history in two hours than I'd learned in ten previous visits to Toronto. Dustin followed up with a Dropbox album of photos. Genuinely remarkable."
"We've lived in Toronto for six years and thought we knew it. We didn't. Dustin took us through streets we'd passed a thousand times and made us see the city entirely differently. Worth every penny and then some."
Eight distinct walks through eight distinct pieces of Toronto. Each one crafted and guided by Dustin Fuhs, who has spent over a decade learning this city's hidden stories — and telling them brilliantly.
Begin at Osgoode Hall and trace the city's founding streets — the original garrison, the first city hall, the dramatic rise of the financial district, and the extraordinary architectural detail most visitors walk right past. Toronto's origin story, told where it happened.
UofT's extraordinary Collegiate Gothic campus is one of North America's most beautiful, and few people stop to understand it. This walk covers the architecture, the remarkable history of the institutions that built it, and the cultural life of Bloor Street at its doorstep.
Yorkville in the 1960s was the bohemian heart of Toronto — the coffeehouses where Joni Mitchell and Neil Young played early gigs. Today it's Canada's most luxurious neighbourhood. This tour traces both stories and finds the remarkable tension between them.
One of Canada's most culturally layered neighbourhoods. Jewish immigrant roots, Portuguese fishing culture, Caribbean diaspora, and today's vibrant young creative community — all living in one astonishing, colourful square kilometre.
The Gooderham & Worts distillery complex is the finest collection of Victorian industrial architecture in North America — and the story of its transformation from derelict brownfield to Toronto's most visited neighbourhood is one of the city's best recent stories.
Dustin Fuhs has spent his career in the spaces between disciplines — architecture, history, urban culture, and the art of storytelling. He launched LiveToronto in 2011 after realizing that the guided tours available in the city were either too shallow or too scripted to capture what actually makes Toronto fascinating.
Since then, he has guided thousands of visitors and longtime residents through the city's streets — crafting custom routes, discovering new angles on familiar landmarks, and developing a reputation on TripAdvisor that is, quite literally, five stars without exception.
He knows which building to duck into when it starts to rain. He knows what happened at this corner in 1887. He knows, as one reviewer put it, "more about Toronto than anyone I've ever met."

Every LiveToronto tour can be customised — route, pace, focus, and duration adjusted for your interests.
Corporate events, special occasions, school groups, and international delegations welcome.
Most guided tours work from a fixed script. Dustin works from a conversation. Before each private tour, he asks where you're coming from, what you already know, what you're curious about, and how much you like to walk. The route emerges from that conversation.
For group tours, the mix in the group shapes the experience — an architectural historian and a first-time visitor to Canada will have very different tours with the same guide on the same street, because the best tours are responsive, not recited.
This is why LiveToronto's TripAdvisor reviews so consistently mention being surprised — surprised by how much they didn't know, surprised by the depth of engagement, surprised to find themselves still talking about the tour days later.
All tours are personally led by Dustin Fuhs. Group tours run with a minimum of two guests. Private tours are available any day by arrangement — custom routes welcome.
